First: After a hugely gratifying reception to our presentation on integrating technology seamlessly into the home, at the Boston Design Center this past spring, we decided to use that terrific response as an impetus to throw our hat even deeper into the ring of the design/build community.
Next: We applied to lead AIA-approved workshops on the topic, and were approved! Architects can now earn CEU credits for learning about the process of coordinating with an integrator and builders at the earliest stages of a project, and how strategic planning from the outset can result in beautiful and functional solutions in home audio, video, lighting, HVAC, and more.
Now: We’re on to our next step. We submitted a proposal to present on the same topic at ABX 2015, which is taking place November 17-19 at The Boston Convention Center. That proposal was accepted, which means we’ll be joining a host of other widely respected experts offering workshops and speaking on home topics. We’re excited to be among them, and to educate even more people about the ways in which a collaborative design/technology/build team can work together to bring incredibly helpful (and these days, arguably essential) technology into the home–all while keeping it aesthetically almost unnoticeable.
We’ll also have a dedicated spot on the showroom floor at this year’s ABX conference. During the show, specialists from the OneVision Team will be providing private tours of The Wall, teaching industry professionals and potential homeowners about the latest technologies and the differences between all the options. Be sure to swing by our booth (#308) during the conference or complete the form below to schedule a dedicated time. Don’t miss this special event!
We hope to see you there!
